Any custom runs on the Lionmaster Hudson?

Interesting question (to me, at least) as I think the Lionmaster Hudson is Lionel's nicest non-scale locomotive. I'm definitely getting the Pacemaker version (ordering today at my LHS).

I don't know which RRs operated the Hudson other than New York Central. Perhaps there will be custom runs on those beyond NYC and the generic Lionel Lines.

I would have thought maybe a plain black version (no stripes) would have been offered by someone or maybe a Christmas themed one.

NYC also had Hudsons marked for the B&A which would also be a good candidate.

I'm down to the Black with stripes or the Dreyfuss inspired unit.

As cool as the glow in the dark Halloween offering is, I just can't justify it. Maybe Lionel will offer that feature on something a little cheaper down the road.

Been wondering about this as well.  Seems to be a catalog highlight for many and custom runs would probably be popular on this one.  Maybe I'm wrong.... happens a lot lol.  Anyways, I would at least imagine an in-service NYC J3a appearance would be a given, and maybe as stated above an xmas scheme.  I really like the halloween idea, but the purple on it just doesn't look good to me.  Recent halloween offerings had much better and brighter paint schemes.... but to each their own.  Now if someone did a better looking halloween version.... 🎃  LOL oh well.  The pacemaker is beautiful looking though.   

The Pacemaker scheme is cool but for some reason I don't care for it on locomotives, but wow does a string of boxcars look good running the rails.

Someone should do something prototypical like BNSF or Amtrak

If someone did offer Amtrak, I would consider it for the sheer absurdity of it. 

But if we are tossing out wild ideas... The Polar Express is always on the table.

Yup. Surprised one of the prototypical black/no stripes versions wasn't offered in the catalog, like the two TMCC ones years ago. That's the only version I would be interested in. Been waiting for this engine reissue for a long time. At least it's nice that a Lionmaster series engine is showing up.

I would have ordered a North Pole Central, no doubt.

Well if nothing else maybe a forum sponsor will see this and realize some buzz is going around about a custom run and try to offer one!
