Any word on when the Lionel Preamble Express Passenger set might ship?

I have been looking forward to receiving the new Lionel PREAMBLE EXPRESS PASSENGER SET (item number 2022080) that was listed in their 2020 volume 1 catalog. Lionel's shipping schedule still shows shipping December of 2020. I guess i am getting concerned because evidently the B&M passenger set (item 2022070) was shown on the same page in the same catalog and basically uses the same E8 and passenger tooling and someone here on the forum was offering one of those for sale last week.

I would be surprised if one set shipped and the other did not.

Anyone have any knowledge as to what might be going on?
