I am trying to embed the original Superstreets - lighter gray - by using foam board and thin wood sections, and I think I should try to match the Superstreets gray color as close as possible (curb and parking areas - I think they are usually the same color as the real streets they are adjacent to). In his article, Lee Willis blended his streets and parking areas together by filling in joints and painting over both. I don't want to go to that length, rather just keep the streets as-is and as closely as possible find a paint to match. I am in the process of cutting foam and wood now, like a jig-saw puzzle, and then will take the pieces outside and paint. If anyone found a specific color please let me know the brand and number. Otherwise, I suppose I'll take a piece of streets to Lowes and try to eyeball a spray paint cap to it.

As I say in the article and more in my book, I use 3/16 basswood.  I mostly don't fill the cracks any more, as them are thin and look pretty much like real world concrete seams.  I paint all of the surfaces, including the 'Streets road itself (to get rid of that plastic sheen) and I mix the paint myself.  I vary color slight because, well, roads vary in color in the real world, too.

Good luck with it.
