Does anyone know where I could get Aquatex glass and does anyone know how I could cut the glass? I have seen it used before and it looks real and dusting it should not be a problem and boats can be moved easily.

Any glass store should have the glass and could cut it for you. If you want anything more then a straight line you will have to get the acrylic version and cut it with a very fine blade and a scroll saw.
Aquatex is available at major glass suppliers. The glass supplier will cut it for you at no extra charge. There's no need to ever cut a curve. Draw a full scale outline of your waterway on paper and have the glass cut in straight lines to the largest dimensions. Then conform your banks on top of the glass.
