Someone made a comment on another forum that LIonchief products are traditional sized. Can anyone confirm that?

ANSWER: "Mostly True". The LionChief Plus 2.0 Mikado for instance is almost exactly S Scale. The Pacifics are based on the Post War Santa Fe Hudson tooling. The FT's are almost exactly O Scale. The 0-6-0T is very close to scale, as are the NW2's, GP-7/9's etc.

There's some difference in these two responses. Color me confused.

No confusion. The Post War NW2 and F3 were close to scale. The MPC GP20 was really a chop-nosed GP7 and U36B used the GP7 frame and motor assembly, and so was way undersized for those units, but fine for the GP7/9.
