Rockstars1989 Yes I should be working on the layout but I have an excuse. I just got my right foot operated on [I had A titanium piece down my leg and up my foot put in A week ago. this sugar is kicking my ***.] Where I am at on the layout I'm laying track in A tunnel area so I don't have the second level up yet in that area. It is hard to stand on one foot for to long and even harder to get the wheelchair in there I already got trains and buildings from the old layout on shelves under their. Lately I have been on here A lot getting [steeling] ha-ha A lot of good ideas from everyone to make my layout even better. Thank you everyone for sharing your pictures and advice. As they say [whoever they are] imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Take care and thanks everyone. Choo Choo Kenny

I don't see how you can be GUILTY of not working on a layout. Once it ceases to be fun, it shouldn't be your hobby. And almost a sure way to make something not be fun is to HAVE to do it.

I usually check on OGR in the morning before leaving for work, on break and lunch, after leaving the first job while waiting to punch in at the second job, or when winding down to go to sleep so for me my answer is no, I'm not. Any free time I do get I try to work on it even it's only a half hour, any time less takes me too long to find everything to even get started on it, then I have to get it picked up so the pooch doesn't get into something he shouldn't.

Sometimes, but most often its a break.  I like to "vary the menu" of my train hobby -work in the workshop on a project for a while, work on the layout for a while, run trains for a while, etc.  The forum is sort of one thing I just like to cycle through.  I do like to bookend the day with the forum now, and today is an example: I did some work on my fantasy ATSF 6-4-4-4 -- it is in primer now and drying overnight, and I'm done in the workshop for today.
