This is a preliminary verbal report that I've gotten . Everything is still available for pre-order, except the Atlas GP-7's and the MTH GP-35's. I have to go thru pre-orders on those and see where we are. There will be extras. I'm waiting for invoices from MTH and Atlas, just for confirmation
I will start send out invoices for pre-orders over the next several days, and putting up for sale what we have in extras.
Atlas..Arriving in about 2 weeks... Everything here will be available in 2 rail
GP-7's, 50' high cube box cars, 40' Airslide covered hoppers, , 33,000 gal tank cars, 40' rebuilt wood reefers, 45' pines trailers, Pullman-Bradley coaches, cylindrical covered hoppers.
Arriving from MTH in 1-2 weeks... Most of this is FYI, 3 rail mostly avbl. I believe we will be getting The CE&I and MAine Central gondolas in 2 rail.
GP-35's in PRR and MoPac (i'll have just 2 of each avbl)
Steel Drop bottom gondolas....our special runs of Maine Central and C&EI, plus the MTH regular production SF, CB&Q, B&M, N&W
Center cupola cabooses...Special run EL, Lackawanna and Unlettered. MTH regular production..WM, MILW, UP, NYC
GOOD NEWS.....MTH will probably start offering more items in 2 rail shortly. Im the big mouth pushing for this. Freight cars should not be too much of a problem. Engines...Im pushing for some smaller and 1st gen diesels. Not more ES-44's, etc.
Im also working on some program where we can offer more MTH freight cars converted to 2 rail. I have enought MTH 2 rail trucks here...Its just that the way the MTH freight cars are built, u have to take the car apart to change trucks. This is very time consuming...And the one thing i dont have, is time...so I'll see what I can work out here....
No time to get more detailed right now.... just a heads up...
