ASC2 and CAB1? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I am getting ready to do my next (and final) layout. I am using TMCC CAB-1 and want to use the remote to control DZ-1000 switch machines. The manual for the ASC2 shows how to hook up for

1. Legacy Base

2. Base-1L

3. Legacy and TMCC CAB-1 base

4. No command base

So it does not seem possible to use with my CAB-1 only- Is there a workaround??

You may want to check the SC-2 controller if it is still available. Will control (6) switches. Pictured SC-2 controls. 10 DZ1000's. (4) cross-over pairs and (2) single switches.

For some reason in the video Lionel recommends the ASC for the DZ-1000 ad not the SC

Not sure why though

I use the ASC2’s with CAB1 & 2 with all my Atlas Switches, and they work just fine!
