Not from me personally, I'm just beginning to get interested in Superliners.

Not me. I like the older stuff.

I'd be interested, but it's probably not ever coming. AM made the F-40PH but nobody else has ever made anything else in Amtrak as far as I know. AM's units work very nicely and with a bit more detailing make great models. I would love a more modern unit, and have contemplated scratch building one, but there's the time issue. Too many models, too little time..,
I would love an Ascela in S scale.
Not interested as it is the wrong era for me. It is doubtful that a large company, taking tooling costs into account, would produce an item that has a limited spectrum of roadnames.

I would love this in S Scale.
Not to be negative, but there is no readily available catenary system available for S, so running without already goes against the grain of my perception of realism. SSA makes some modern cars, Lionel made modern engines, but there's so much more we would need before we would ever need an Acela. Most of us do not model the Northeast Corridor.
Not that anybody pre-orders stuff, it seems they want to see it first, which makes Lionel cancel stuff. So seeing this is doubtful. Too many Lookie-Lou's.
We have the New Haven EP5 (as well as one or two others) without a catenary system and they sold well for Gilbert and Lionel. Lionel in matter of fact did the New Haven EP5 twice for American Flyer.

Not to mention Milwaukee Road and Great Northern. Plus, there's AM's GG1 in various Pennsy flavors.
Still, I think Amfleet, Viewliner and Horizon fleet cars along with a GE P42 would stand a better chance of being made.
