I received my order of ATSF "Q" logo hoppers courtesy of Steve at Mr. Muffins trains. I've been waiting for a manufacturer to offer this scheme for quite a while. They are nicely done, appropriately in a more reddish shade than earlier schemes. A subtle, but interesting, detail is the slight rectangular ghosting effect surrounding the "Q" logo, presumably to duplicate use of a decal on the real thing. Prototypical decal film. Imagine that. It's visible in the photo if one looks closely.

I need to install Kadee couplers before they go into service.

Good for Atlas.  Yes, the Q really was on a clear rectangular film that was applied to the car.  I thought it was cheesy, but it really did exist.
