Well, you beat me to it by a few seconds! So I'll post here. The model of this locomotive:
And of course more Maxi-Stack IV well cars and 53-foot containers. And thanks for the PDF link.
David
Yes, I'm excited for the modern diesels and nice variety of well cars and containers. Definitely getting the CSX ES44s! Nice to see the Western Maryland fans getting a heritage unit.
Between these announcements and the ones in the Spring 2022 catalog, Atlas is allowing us to build a nice modern intermodal train to add to the layout! But I know @jdstucks will still be looking for some JB Hunt down the road...

When is Atlas going to run some streamlined passenger cars (former MTH Premier tooling)????
I'm super excited about all of the ES44's. I'll be looking to get some of the BNSF and UP varieties. I can't believe they are already making one of the new paint scheme UP locomotives. Also, the rerun of the articulated well cars is overdue along with the 53' containers as they are quite hard to find these days so I'm excited to be able to get some at a decent price instead of $500.
ES-44's - Great call in the new UP scheme!
Atlas Master 3 section Maxi-IV well cars, and more 53' containers - The best announcement in the catalog IMO! Some great new schemes and never before optioned offerings.
Appreciate the link, but nothing for me, thanks.
No “Master” line diesels offered 🫢😳😑😖😖😖😖😖
Means no $ from me 🤔
Hi Paul,
Any interest in producing the 85' trash train cars and containers in O?
@Paul Graf posted:As soon as we can stablize the locomotive board supply, so we can offer matching locos.
Thanks for the update Paul!!
Seems like there is a market to run passenger cars for other manufacturer's recently released locomotives, too. Some of us prefer 18" cars and the variety offered by your newly acquired tooling.

We'll get there - we almost put them in this catalog.
If there are specific paint schemes you want to see please let us know.
No Arcade & Attica Railroad 44-tonners. Boo!
It's interesting that they call it the Premier Catalog, a term they originally used for MTH tooling. But they have products called Masterline, which was what they used for TMCC equipped locos if I'm not mistaken. Is there going to be a separate Masterline/Trainman catalog? They do have Trainman rolling stock in this catalog. Just interested in whether this means anything or I'm just quibbling about terminology that means nothing?

Please bring back your “Masterline” locos !!! They were better than Lionel or MTH.
And I like being able to get both powered and unpowered units.

MTH passenger car consists were recently in 4 car sets / offerings.
I Personally like single car offerings as it allows me to build what I want. Even 2 car groupings can deter a purchase if one car is not wanted.
Consider offering both - perhaps the 4 car set offered at $X price and singles with a modest up charge cost per car.
Just some marketing ideas to consider !!!
Cheers !!!🙂
I was hoping for a “new tooling” master line 2 bay covered hopper. A new run of 5161 trinity hoppers, NS preferably and a new run of 60’ Hycube boxcars, GATX blue that’s seen on the rails today.

The secondary market for the fabulous Master line Berwick 60' boxcar is outrageous. They are often listed at $200 on ebay
we need another run of these. I like the GATX
Hi Paul,
How about running the C628's and C630's again.........D&H, LV (red and snowbird), Reading, PRR.......those are beautiful engines and worthy of another pass........

Last run of SD40's, my favorite model, was 12 years ago. The 2016 run was canceled in early 2019. I had 6 2-rail SD's preordered (3 Wheeling & Lake Erie and 3 CSX). I still want these if this run is ever re-announced which Atlas has done in the past. 🤞🏻

And while they're at it, how about some new road names like C&O?
Just bring the MASTERLINE diesels back !!!!!! ANY OF THEM !!!!!!!!!!
Another + for the Master Line 5161s.
More leasing companies for the 5161's. Only one (CRDX) was offered in the last run with the rest being fantasy paint schemes. Same goes for the Premier ACF Centerflow hoppers. More leasers.
Yes on the leasing company cars! I would love to see some of the 2 bay centerflows in some of the modern paint schemes that are rolling around the rails these days.
Also, I'd love to see a new tooling of the 60' high cube boxcars that dominate the rails today and going forward into the future like the GATX car shown above.
Did anyone else notice they are offering 2-rail versions of the ES44s?
Is this the first example of reissued MTH Proto-Scale 3-2 tooling?
I don't think the S-2's, 44-tonners, SD40-2's, or GP40's had a 2-rail offering, but the F40's, genesis, and SD70's all had 2 rail options. I know because that's what I ordered!

I would take a non powered CN c628 or two powered if they were offered in Protosound 3 😬

New Haven - pre-McGinnis (please no more McGinnis black/orange LOL)...or Pullman.
Thanks!

Yes to this!! I really hope Atlas runs these again as I missed out on the Lehigh Valley "Snowbirds" the first time.

With so much traffic handled by SAA daily, I would buy atleast 15-20 myself

Don Mills has a Lehigh Valley C628 (Cornell red) up for auction eBay. It's 2-rail with DCC. He recently sold a Reading C630 (2-rail DC) for $330.
I need another locomotive like I need a hole in my head, but I like what has been offered from the MTH tooling so far. At some point they'll offer something I'll end up ordering (like the impending covered hoppers and scale test cars).
Would like to see a re-release of the Berwick excess-height box cars. I got two sets of four ATSF's -- Set 1 and Set 3. I'd love to get more, but the secondary market on these is ridiculous. I even blundered into an ATSF in brown, which I didn't know they had done (would like more of those).
