I bought a new unused in the package electric railroad mini commander 2 off ebay.
I watched the video from years ago where mike reagan installed one and it worked so cool I wanted to do it to mine. so I had to get this since they are no longer being made.
He does not go to into wiring specific detail at least for me anyway. has anyone installed this and can you provide a wiring diagram for me? thanks

Truthfully, when I installed mine, I used the Lionel SC2 boxes, three of them. This gives me individual power control of each whisker track and two channels for rotation of the TT in either direction.
The three SC2 boxes are on the left, and the TT wiring blocks are in the center.

R U saying that u can use an SC2 to power the engine track segments off of the turntable? I thought it only worked for switches and accessories. Please explain how u do if that is the case.

Sure you can, all you're doing is turning on or off track power to the whisker tracks. The SC2 doesn't care if it's an "accessory" or a "track". 
For accessory configuration, the SC2 has two modes.
Obviously, I use AUX2 to toggle the power to the whisker tracks.
I interpreted the question to mean can you power the turntable with a mini commander. They are capable of providing two amps of DC. Put an ammeter in series with the turntable and see if it draws less than that. If so it should work.

Pete, I guess we have to wait for Greg to clarify the question. 
Clearly, the TT drive motor for the Atlas TT doesn't require anything like 2 amps, at least mine doesn't.
I use it to turn my Atlas Turntable. I also have one in my classic Operating Milk Car

I know the err mini commander 2 will work. mike reagan did this to one. I just was seeing if a wiring diagram specific to this installation could be given by some one who has this installed or knows how it would be hooked up.
I read the manual online already and maybe when the actual product arrives in the mail. I can decifer what wires go where myself. thanks.
