I have one of the custom run UP E9 sets from Mr Muffins and noticed an audio error in the Automatic Sequence Control (ASC) dialog. The ASC is activated by holding down the Aux1 button until the horn/bell sound. Then as the trip continues, different effects play. I noticed that when the train is slowed down below about speed step 60, the dialog says "Dispatcher, I'm stopped. I'll let you know when I am rolling". That is the same dialog that plays at speed step 0. At speed step 60, the ASC usually plays something like "I'm at slow speed", but not that the train has stopped. I don't know whether it is my particular engine that has this glitch or if all the 2020 E8/E9 run does the same thing.

Most likely all the same.
agree, that doesn’t seem to be the expected behavior.
I have the same set but haven't tried the sequence control. FWIW I'd guess it's likely that all of this run of E8/9s have the same glitch, which was not present in the earlier run of A-A sets where only the lead engine is powered. (In the new sets it's still the case that only the lead engine has sounds.)
I'll test it out at some point but as I regard sequence control as Lionel's pale imitation of DCS PFA I'm not likely to use it.
Why they can't get this right when the much more elaborate Legacy StationSounds diner sound effects work great I can't guess.
The bug was caught before the code for the E7s, so going forward all will be correct.
New electronics = potential new bugs.
Merry Christmas Dave Olson!
