Triple 7, the newest re-paint and addition to the M.B.R.S. (Make Believe Railway System). Ok corny I know but I was thinking of my 5 year old grandson at the time. First I believe it was AMCDave that used a 3 foot paint job analogy. Well this is a 6 footer. Second I know the movie is non prototypical, and hoaky, but it's a movie. And it was something I could get my grandson to watch. I can only take so many times of The Polar Express in a week. It's not the correct engine, but was as close in body style as my 031 and 027 would permit. Railking's longer, closer to scale, engine will run on 031 but at 17 1/2" it's gonna look bad in curves. My AS-616 right at 15" coupler to coupler and it doesn't look great. I still have to order some snow plows and install one on it, as well as some final detail touch up. The red is too dark and the yellow isn't gold enough, and after I applied the decals I discovered I can't count to 5, the number of stripes in the herald, one short. But since it's on the MBRS all that matters is it looks ok, and is recognizable.

I guess I'm my own worst critic, I'll admit it turned out pretty good, just missed on the color, and decals were a problem.
