Hi, I have legacy b6sb. Always ran conventional or legacy remote. Have now switched to Bluetooth universal control and in reverse the tender backup light flickers like Morse code. Only in bluetooth mode. Other methods fine. I found an old thread from years back that this is a universal issue it seems, any fix known? And is it something Lionel would cover under warranty? I really would like to get this straightened out as my kids do not like using legacy remote base setup, and in conventional the engine performance obviously not ideal. Thanks!

I believe the fix was something like adding a resistor in series with the LED. Call Lionel and see if they have the Service Bulletin on the problem.
You need to send it back to lionel. According to Dave Olsen, the tender light is flickering because it is not seeing the legacy signal. The boards need to be reprogrammed to fix the issue. It was a bug in the code. It shouldn't be looking for the signal when not using legacy.
Joe, in hindsight I am pretty sure I did not submit warranty info to lionel on this item and I believe it was about 3 or 4 years ago I bought it. I suppose I'm out of luck then? I have no documentation of when I bought it.
Since this is just a reprogramming of the boards, I would expect Lionel to take of it. No one else can update the board. I would call.
