I was gonna tear out all 3 rail and go to RC across the board, but my final assessment was only to RC my 2 rail brass. I have a ton of money tied up in ERR Tmcc units.
Soooo, I had tried using N scale rail in the turnouts, but it created a lot of problems. This is a modified Atlas 7.5 code 148 turnout with 148 third rail. It works fine and smooth, but i'm going to down size to code 100 next. Here are 2 short phone videos of my super detailed 3 rail cab forward. Any jiggling is a function of the gauge and springing of the lead truck.
