I know this one but want to make sure. Sounds cut out the very second power is removed. If the watch dog signal is missed the backup light starts flickering, a clicking sound is heard and engine not on track error on the remote. Power down, power back up if the engine gets the watchdog signal everything works.
I'm getting battery OK on the remote but all that's telling me the voltage is correct, but there's no capacity in the battery anymore?

Just verified it. .9 volts on the battery. Funny thing is I changed the sound file and didn't know it was bad until after the fact. I thought oh heck what did I do wrong when the engine starting mis-behaving.
Battery OK on the remote means the charging circuit is OK. Charge the battery overnight. If that doesn't work, replace it.
.9V is pretty dead. If this battery is over 7 years old I would just replace it. If the battery develops a short when it expires, it will overload the PS board and can damage it if not careful. G
I have it here at work charging with a constant current power supply. It isn't holding a charge, sure is dead. First battery to go on my. Funny how my older 5volt engine batteries out lasted this one. Ohwell.
