I took my wife out antiquing for Mother's Day. We never spot any train items, but that day, there were quite a few. most overpriced or in terribale condition. I did spot 2 red dual lamp streetlights. They were very similar to Marx, so this is what I thought they were. However, these gems were in their original box, and in very nice shape and the name on the box is Barclay.
Instead of having the usualy electrical post on the base there were two long wirescoming out of the pole. They are red, with the rounf white bulbs. I knew Barclay had made many different metal figures , but did not know they had also made accessories too. Has anyone ever added other Barclay accessories to the layout? I bought these just becuase they were unique and not like other streetlights on the my layout.
