Just picked up a Proto 1 Pennsylvania Torpedo and before even running it I want to switch out the battery with a BCR. I called 2 LHS and neither carried them. I'm located close to Montvale, NJ where there is a show tomorrow 3/10. Does anyone know if there will be a vender there who sells BCR's at this show?

I do not know about that particular train show, but most all the train & hobby shops have them hangining right on the wall, pick one from the Pittsburgh, Pa area list, give them a call and have it shipped directly to your home.

I know that I could send away for a BCR, but I was just hoping that some forum member would be a regular at this show and have knowledge as to whether any vendor sells them at the show. I figured that I'd rather pay the admission for the show and get it quicker rather than pay for postage/handling.

If I were you, I'd go to the show anyway. You might well find a BCR there. But even if you don't, you'll most probably have a fun day out and get to see and enjoy lots of trains.
