Don't know if this is old news but I read (O Scale Resource) that Bob Stevenson of Stevenson Preservation Lines had a heart attack recently. The writeup says he was shopping at a Meijer store when it happened and there was an EMT in the same aisle who saved him.
Says he's doing well and getting back to work after they installed a pacemaker.

I called to check on an order 2 days ago and the nice lady said he was in the hospital. I didn't ask why, none of my business, I just told her I hope he feels better and whenever he's back to work I'll check again.
Hope he gets well soon, he's such an asset in aftermarket precision parts.
Can't say that I know Bob well, but I spoke with him at the O Scale National in Towson, MD in 2004. Very nice man and most willing to please. Hope he is up and around soon!

I know him fairly well, and consider him among the best of folks, but have not been tracking his health. I should call. If I do, I will report back.
His collection is museum-like, with many casting masters from before WWII.
Yeah, Bob is one of the Good Guys. I wish him only the best.
The rumors I've heard is he went into the hospital to, let's say, have his newly installed pacemaker tuned up. Obviously, there's more to it than replacing the plugs & points but I'm told he's in good hands. I've also been told he should be home by now. Let's hope so.
