A prototype photo for today.  Former PFE reefers converted to MOW cars in the yard of Coborca, Sonora, Mexico in 2003.  When I returned in 2004 these were gone.  It is on the former Ferrocarril Sonora-Baja California railroad.  Currently it is operated by Ferromex, but I have not been down to this location in nearly 20 years so I can't say what the yard is like today.

I'm glad you got the pictures while they were there. My brother has always told me get a photo it could be gone tomorrow.

Good evening OGR Forum friends, this is a super topic, always colorful cars, some look like new out of the paint shops, some weathered after much service on their respected railroads. Others are simply originals, repaints, but all fun to review. Tonight I’m showing a mixture of brands, Lionel, Atlas O, etc… Happy Railroading Everyone

The car that has Leapin Larry Looney Lines was made by the late Jim Bengert from Evansville and is G GaugeIMG_3099

My boxcars for today are New York, Trumbull & Boston #52, a 36-foot wood-sided car (model by MTH Railking) and Waldbaums PCRX #1006, a wood-sided refrigerated car (model by Atlas O).

NYT&B #52 was expertly painted and lettered by forum member @Krieglok.

The cars are running behind Long Island Rail Road B-6 steam locomotive #170. The video shows the train as it exits the east portal on my 10’-by-5’ model railroad.
