Here is one of my new Lionel WWII Poster boxcars.  I'm assuming (a word I hate) that BLT on this boxcar stands for when it was Built and not Bacon Lettice and Tomato, would they have put WWII posters on a car for war support after the war had ended, or did Lionel get that wrong or am I wrong for assuming that BLT stands for when it was built?  Inquiring minds need to know.

Lionel WWII Boxcar 3

I think it’s clearly an anachronism. 12/47, WWII has ended more than 2 years prior, and what would be the point of referring back to 1944? Lionel didn’t think this one through.
