Made some progress on my layout featuring both British and American Tinplate trains. I put the O gauge track back in place as I am now expecting a package of more 042 track and matching rubber road bed. I put my Marx freight house on the layout, Lionel 395 beacon tower and Marx Girard depot(till I find a more UK looking one I like). I need to get one more left hand Lionel 042 switch with manual control and a tinplate bridge(I think I found a Lionel one that will fit the bill and not break the bank). It will go on the narrow portion of the layout that bridges the duck under opening to access the transformer and the shelves. Motive power so far are three Bassett-Lowke steamers(one clockwork and two live steamers) and my Lionel 252 electric and cars. I have three Darstaed LMS passenger coaches on the way as well. I will update this thread as more progress is made. AD.
