The fuselage seems to be finished off better on the tail end.  I've never seen the real thing so  don't know which has a better representation of the space between the fuselage and the parts bin.  K-Line mad some nice long flat cars.  I believe Menards has a few of their 14-1/2" flat cars still in stock.

Use to see them all the time going threw Renton.

@OhB1,  so it looks like the "gap" between fuselage and parts container is definitely too large on the K-Line and the Menard's are closer.  If the Menard's cars were just about an inch longer I think the gap would be just right.

I found these tractors on sale at Ace Hardware last month and put them in the side door pocket and forgot about them until yesterday.   They will be a fun addition to my Christmas layout.

I got this Icken 0-8-0 switcher and the Blumm 17/64ths scale M1 the other day. Can’t remember if I posted the brass F3’s before or not but they are also recent.

An A-A set of Williams Santa Fe F3s.  New in the box for $ 125.00.  Had to grease the gearboxes; they had nothing in them.

Snagged another Menards special. Lighted '51 Ford and a Reading gondola.

Nice acquisitions Bob. That’s an excellent reminder because I don’t think to check their website. Anything Reading always peaks my interest.

I took advantage of the Mr Muffin deal of the day and ordered a Lionel UP FEF steam locomotive.  It's being sent to Harry for weathering.  Excited to get it and more excited to get my new layout completed.

Since a few commented on "completed," my old layout was torn down when I  moved from my old house to my new house, so that took care of that layout.  My new layout will be a triple track mainline covering 3 rooms in my  basement.  Track plan and photos of progress soon.  It will be completed when it gets delivered.

The chit-chat unrelated to the subject of this topic was deleted.  Took up almost a dozen posts and pushed subject material to the next page!

I got a Like new JLC Union Pacific H-7 from GRZYBOSK'S TRAINS.  What a beautiful engine! It looks like it has never been run!

Guys are showing lots of cool stuff here, great to see what others are picking up. I picked up a few great American circus passenger cars, and a Santa Fe observation car to bring up the rear. I now have to disassemble the passenger cars and populate them. Looking forward to that project– hope I don't break anything. Fingers crossed.  Craig

A pair of Santa Fe engines for $125, now that's quite the deal!   And inbrand new condition too, Wow!

Forgot to post recent addition of a Conrail SD50. It joins the SD45 from almost a year ago now.

I ordered and received two items from Trainz, both were NIB, but one box looked a little tattered on one end. Whenever I find Western Pacific rolling stock that I don't have I grab it. WP stuff is usually hard to find. The Gondola is low end, but still a nice car with sprung trucks. The flatcar is a die-cast chassis and very nicely detailed. I think I'll weather the deck, though.

Purchased the new Atlas Hy-Cube Berwick Box Cars. Road names UP, NS, Conrail, Penn Central and the ones METCA offered

I did, it just arrived but I'm not home with my layout to get it running and have to hope that there will be no issues. Something from my wish list, MTH Premier F-3, YAY! Not the best photo because of the lighting but here it is!

I took advantage of another one of Mr. Muffins daily deals, actually two.  I got a UP Challenger, and a caboose to go with it.  I also picked up some of the new Atlas Berwick 60' cars two from Mr. Muffin and three from Stockyard express.

My new Sunset G-5 arrived today. Bought it to replace a Weaver G-5, no comparison is detailing and accuracy. As I posted I'm donating my 3 rail equipment and focusing on accurate LIRR equipment. Will post the Weaver on the For Sale page soon.

Got this Decapod from my friend in NC!  I'm impressed with the detail on here but then I realized it's MTH Premier.  Makes my other smaller Lionel Legacy engines look a little plain.  It's not a perfect model but it's been pretty fun to run and my son loves watching all those little wheels making their way around our tighter layout.

Maroon 6468X B & O automobile car. C8 condition with no box; got it for $ 39.00.

A set of MTH CNJ 72' heavyweights.  Got them for a very good price; all 6 cars for the same price as a new small (48') Lionel streamliner car.
