Happy Birthday, Joe! great painting.
GLAD you had a great birthday! :-)
This weekend was busy lol
John,
Great looking Cars! Love the Red! Think ZW-L or Z4K for your new power supply.

Sidetrack ie really great. I remember the 384e Christmas I bought from them. When I unpacked it there 4 extra straight pieces of track slid into the box. I received a 400E 3 years ago that had paint loss, they replaced it. Therefore, they are Always my 1st choice! Beautiful set. A red 256 in your future?

I meant locomotive- right now I use most mth bricks for power.
John,
I received some Pre-War AF Tin today also. A real nice Red Lighted Caboose and a old Aqua and Orange Box Car. Both in pretty darn good shape, I actually got them to couple with my Lionel Tin and everything ran just great. The Box car is one heavy piece of Tin for an O Gauge Car.
PCRR/Dave
Funny thing about these particular AF Cars, they have no ident numbers on them any place.
Did you get them from eBay?
Did you get them from eBay?
89,
I got them right here in the OGR for sale section. Do no know if he had them listed any where else however.

Well there really awesome...I need to male room for some stuff I have been looking at lol
89,
I know what you mean. Hay your spell checker is changing words on you. It changed the word made to male, try to keep an eye on it, mine is doing the same thing.
PCRR/Dave
Haha I hate spell check, its a pain in the butt.
John,
Did I actually read you were running great old Tin Plate Trains with MTH Bricks! You have to pick up a Z4K and Side Receiver, along with the DCS and run the good old Tin Plate Engines with the DCS HHRC via the TR mode. The old engines run smooth as silk in this manner, shame on you for powering your good Tin Plate with a nasty Brick. Bricks are for building homes, not running classic Trains.
PCRR/Dave
Ya know you can't get into Tin Plate Heaven if you use Devil Bricks.

Mth z1000 or 750 brick through a throttle. Or using the variable track voltage thru dcs tiu and remote. Is there a problem I don’t see?
John,
Get rid of the stinking Devil Brick and upgrade to a Z4K or ZW-L, keep the Z1000 for small stuff!
Just Kidding you buddy!
PCRR/Dave
You can't run good Tin with a Devil Brick, the Lord does not allow it.

Very nice! The only new tinplate I have came from them.
Got a few things. Here are some Marklin and dorfan. So far I cleaned up the Dorfan caboose and the Shell tank car. Clean and wax is great. The Sell car is almost completely rusted out from tge inside. It seems these Marklin tank cars could carry fluids and of course rust from those same fluids. The outside looks ok though
Seems the USPS made a Sunday delivery while I was at TTOS selling stuff. Forney Reading hopper. The beast is over 14".
Steve
Steve,
Now that is a nice Reading Hopper!
PCRR/Dave
It would be a great addition to the big Tin Plate Train, on the ceiling shelf layout. She would fit right in after the Spot Light Flat Car about 9 Car back.
Tin Plate Trains the real Little Boys Toys!
Crane Cars are my child hood favorite Toy ! Well along with a Bowie Knife and Fine L.C. Smith Shotgun.
I'm glad I stopped bidding on that hopper and didn't run the price up! You need it right now more than I do...
I have often wondered if I was bidding against a forum buddy??
Joe Gozzo
Joe,
I have made it a strict policy to use the Buy Now entity, no bidding. One of the reasons is more than likely you are bidding against one or even a few of the different forum members, and you end up driving the cost up most times, much more than the item is actually worth.
PCRR/Dave
Beachhead2,
Really nice 500 series Cars, I especially like the Box Cars Colors and the fantastic Caboose!
PCRR/Dave
Thanks, Dave. I'm putting together a regular freight consist and Christmas consist. Also, waiting on FedEx/UPS for a couple passenger sets. Hopefully, more pics later this week or next. Though regrettably, no operating layout until this summer.
By the way, I laid out these cars on the window sill to take the pictures. I told my twelve year old daughter to take a look. She said, "cool". Then after a few seconds she pointed to the yellow "girl's" car and said "I really like the colors of this one". So after all these years, maybe Lionel did have a good idea with the girl's set after all!
