I am having a problem getting my legacy 1L command set working right. I have ZW-L for power, everything works fine with my original tmcc set. When I hook up my new Cab1L/Base1L set my engine lights flicker, as does the Lionel blue light on my ZW-L. Also my engine does not respond sometimes to the commands given. The red light on the base blinks  like it should when giving commands. I have tried different channels. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Bob

Thanks Bob, Have tried all of that. Hooked up my cab2 legacy to this layout this morning and it's works perfectly. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Used the same channel on both units. but still not work. And yes I do not have both sets hooked up at the same time. It will also work with my tmcc base and cab1. The lights on the GP9 work with both the old sets but not the new Cab1lL/Base1L. The lights just flicker and so does the blue Lionel light on my ZW-L. This is starting to work on my nerves. Have tried several engines both legacy and tmcc, but nothing works right with the new set! Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I have a question gentleman, since the Cab1L works with the Cab1L Base alone for some people (no Cab2 Base connected), and the Cab1l works with the Legacy base, is having the 990 Base and having a Cab1L base hooked to the same layout at the same time creating this problem? Would it not be the same as trying to connect 2, 990 Legacy base units to the same layout, I am aware that connecting 2 bases to the same layout creates a signal problem. Just my thoughts.

Not sure what I am doing wrong. Lionel replaced my base 1L and I am still having problems. I have tried every channel and it still will not send a good signal sometimes. Blue light on ZW-L still flickers most of the time. When I hook up my original cab1 and base or my legacy cab 2 it works perfect. What am I doing wrong? And yes I only hook up one base at a time. I have turned off my wifi, tv, and wireless phone. Nothing seems to work with the new system.
