Hi all, first of all I can say that I am pretty impressed with this loco, it actually does negotiate 031 curves. The die cast shell and tender feel like quality materials. I have some questions. I am tryin gto turn off the smoke and am confused as to which button, is it number 8 or 9 or something else? I have also searched online at Lionel for an electronic version of the owners manual with no luck. I am trying to search by part number 1932162. Is that wrong? I would also like to find a simple list of what each button (0 through 9) does with this loco. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Marty, thanks for that. I did get a printed owner's manual with it . However it is useless since I don't have any eyesight. The electronic manuals are the best I can do but even those don't read correctly with a screen reader sometimes.
thanks
I believe AUX1- 8 turns it off and AUX1-9 turns it on.
Pretty much standard across the line since the early days of TMCC.
Thank you very much, this is the cheat sheet I have always used. It think it is still valid:
1 Raises sound volume
2 crew talk
3 raises rpm
4 decreases sounds
5 shut down
6 lower rpm
7 tower communications
8 smoke off
9 smoke on
0 reset
