I would have loved to taken part in these auctions.  However, the description of every train item should state, in the black print, what gauge it is, even if it is just shorthand like "O ga."     

I found it impossible to wade through 600 items, guessing which were O gauge.

In order to incite interest in the sale of a product, it would seem  unwise to make the potential buyer have to research the product, through other online searches, just to find out the most basic information about it.  The search function was no help.

I quickly gave up.  :-(

There is a very easy to use tool at the top of the page. Look for the nine dots to the left of the "all or active" option at the very top of the page. The sorting is already done for you.

Thanks for beating me to the punch on the categories.  They are not ALL categorized perfectly but we do try.  Most items are relatively self explanatory as to the gauge but if its not clear and not in the description, please feel free to ask to confirm.  Thanks!

But how in the world would anyone know that the big search function block won't search for O gauge, but a tiny button a the top that just says "All" will sort by O gauge?

All the info is there.  In the search results.   They are not having any issues with sales.

I quickly gave up.  :-(

Go to the auction page and click the dots...which is standard internet for  "we have some sort of list to show you"

Then the list comes up.  Cool  I want to see what's in Postwar Lionel, so I click on that

And it takes me to the 46 PostWar items up for Auction.   With full descriptions.

I just look at everything. Just to see if something may be of interest.

Found a few things and picked up a G AB unit.
