Caboose industries ground throws

There is a pin on the ground throw that goes into the throw bar.

I prefer the non-spring loaded. Both work.

Wholesaletrains.com (among many others) has them. I'm 99% sure you can buy them from Ross when you get your switches..

I have about 30 Caboose Industries ground throws on the layout.  They are great.  I do personally prefer the 208s sprung version though. 

Bob, the 208S is the one Ross uses on his switches and I had planned on using them.

I have a under construction of a yard area using 2 Ross 4 way switches and seeing it is at tables edge are easily reached.

sure beats wiring a switch machine motor to them all!

I have the rigid #107R with my Ross turnouts.

I have 10 of the 208S on my layout and like them.  My only complaint is the pin on the 208s is quite short so it is possible for it to slip out of the hole in the switch throw bar if there is any up and down play in it.  I had to chisel out some of the tie so as to lower the 208s on a couple of my switches (older Gargraves, not Ross) to allow more tension downward on the throw bar.
