Calibration of TIU Tester??

I don't understand as the calibration sheet came with the tiu tester when you built it!

True Allen, but I thought there was a procedure using a scope somewhere, that Stan had put together?

Note the recent additions to that thread.  The tool was only designed to test the ports on the TIU, attaching anything to the tested channel will negate the calibration.  Every layout is different, and will load the DCS signal more or less.

I did note that thanks John.  How are you liking the Mustool scope? Working as you envisioned? It's certainly a handy size.

Is that screenshot the actual dcs signal? If not, would you have an actual dcs shape you could post from previous, thanks?

That's not the actual DCS signal, though there are a bunch of shots of it posted in the forum.  That was just a picture I took when I first got it and was tinkering around with a function generator and the 'scope to see how things worked.

Stan posted a video here of a 'no scope' calibration method. 3 or 4 posts down from Stan's video, GRJ posted some scope calibration screen shots and info. It is on page 9 of the "Design of a $10-20 DCS TIU Pert Tester Tool?" thread about mid way down, in case the link doesn't work. 

I missed this earlier. Seems Google (gmail) has been filtering all my OGR alert messages for the forums I follow the last few days. So I have been missing a lot of posts. Just found the problem and got everything back where it belongs. 

Google is our internet provider, fortunately it's really fast. Unfortunately, gmail is now my only email server since we switched a few years ago. They do a pretty good job of spam filtering, but sometimes they think something is spam when it is not and then proceed to do with it as they see fit without any user input. There doesn't seem to be a way to exclude anything from their spam filters, not that I can find anyway?

I thought things had been pretty light around here the last few days, now I know why.
