I have the Century Club II A-B-A Pennsy Baldwin Sharknose diesel set that I'd like to sell. The set worked great when I had my first layout. When I moved, they sat for a couple of years in their boxes. When I put them on my layout recently to test them, they wouldn't respond to TMCC commands in any way. No start-up, no reset, nothing. Just dead. Tried reprogramming which again proved no response. I opened one up, and can't figure out where the TMCC antenna is.

In conventional mode, they run fine and smoke great. Unfortunately the one A unit has a sound problem. It sounds very faint and tinny like a speaker in a greeting card. You can still adjust the volume, but it's very faint and requires a quiet room to hear the difference. None of these engines have ever had a battery installed. I bought these NOS at an auction in 2016.

Because I'm selling these I don't want to spend much on repairs. Are these known issues? My repair abilities are minor. I'm handy with a screwdriver but that's about it. No soldering or electrical experience. I'm thinking of just selling them as-is. I'm hoping I can at least fix one problem easily to make it more sellable.
