Changing a resistor in a smoke unit.

Hello! Can anyone tell me how to change out a resistor in a smoke unit? Do you just soldier it off and back on?

if you know its bad, cut it out, then unsolder ends from board, ps 2 is easier cause you don't have the voltage regulator parts. if you have superwick use that to get solder out of holes, then put in new ,,solder it your done
