Question: Does the the type of loco described below show any indication, like a horn or flashing lights, that it has recognized a change in speed steps from 32 steps to 100 steps or vice versa?

Tech. Specs:                                            1.) Atlas Trainman Dash 8-40CW           2.) TMCC, Railsounds, ERR cruise*
3.) Yr. produced: 2016*                         4.) Command System(s)/Remotes:   Legacy- Cab2(Primary)...DCS-handheld....TMCC- Cab 1**

*-So this ERR Cruise is from 2016, which I assume could be relevant

**- When in Legacy mode if I have it in 32 step mode, it’s set as tmcc in the Cab2. For 100 step mode, I run it in R1000. Ive been told and I’ve seen the precise control that ERR provides, but not so much with this loco.

I feel that the horn sounds when I change to the 100 speed step mode but only once between when it’s turned on and turned off. But I think I might be imagining it lol. I know with K-Line cruise control the lights would flash. This loco is my first ERR Equipped, which I’d been wanting for awhile so I was excited. I like seeing how different ‘cruise controls’ compare in general.

I believe it should sound the horn anytime the speed step setting changes. At least, that’s how the ERR CC-M functions when the sound module is downstream on the serial output.
