I'm looking to do some changes on my layout. Among others is to change most of my switches to 072. In doing this however, I want to make a change to my engine yard. I want to change one set of sidings (for my long cab unit diesels, F3/7s PAs E8s ect) I want to make a separate entrance on my mainline to enter into it. In order to do this, I need a 22.5 degree crossing. That's where my issue comes in. Can it fit? Using SCARM it looks like it can but I want to sure it will before I go spending the $$ on the track. Attached is a few SCARM files and pictures of my layout.

If you can use the 22.5 crossover, I have a used one in good condition for sale - e-mail me to discuss.

Thanks but for now I want to make sure it will work before I go buying stuff. Any guidance on this?
SCARM is pretty good at producing realistic results, so your plan should work. However, why bother with the cost of a crossing. Just swap the right hand and left hand switches coming off your inner lines and the resulting track will go in the same direction for about the same usable distance. Of course, if you are using the crossing to achieve a desired scenic effect, then just ignore my suggestion.

I'll keep that suggestion in mind. I do like the idea of using the crossing adding something different to the layout.
