Besides reprograming, try pressing AUX2 which will toggle the headlight on and off.

Thanks AUX 2 fixed the light. I tried to reprogram still no cab chatter all other sounds are ok.

I also received a response from Lionel very cold response we don’t have manual and had no suggestions for reprogram code.

I am not sure reprograming will fix the cab chatter. Try another RS4 or RS5 board if you have one.

No programming is recognized by a RS4 board, so Pete is right, you ain't gonna' fix that with a programming change.

Check to see if there is a RS / SS (Rail Sounds / Signal Sounds) switch under the tender.  Place it in the RS position if there is one.  I just can't recall for sure, but it "sounds" like it might be in SS mode.  When you say there is no cab chatter, are you also missing the "back-ground" sounds???  Or are your referring to the cab chatter when you select Aux1 followed by #2?

Do you get the announcement sounds when you press Aux1 followed by #7?  Do you get the chuff sound as the engine runs?

Given the age of  similar engines, I sometimes find opening the tender and re-seating the boards corrects some problems.

Ok guys this Tmmc stuff is new to me. I am a dcs person. So I am clueless on how this works. You all helped in different ways. Dave G hit it on the nose with aux 1 then press 2 on cab1 and we get crew chatter. The cab1 is not very user friendly but it works if you know what your doing. Thanks guys for all the ideas and lessons.
