Classic Model Corp. standard gauge

I am new to the forum, but, not new to collecting electric trains. I recently purchased what a thought was a CMC number 201 locomotive. After comparing the new loco with a 201 I already had in my collection I noticed quite a few differences between the 2 trains. The loco is unnumbered, the only lettering is The New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad. I would appreciate any information concerning this locomotive.
