Van? I've never heard that term with regards to trains. Can you explain?

Keith, I think the term "van" might be Canadian parlance for caboose. But not at all sure of that. Those more knowledgeable will post.

Correct, van is Canadian term for caboose.

Finally, eight of them are ready for primer.

Since Rapido Trains only produced these CN vans in HO and N scale, it is great that they have been finally built in O scale.

They are progressing and along with them a couple of N6A cabs too. The windows for the CN vans will be the worst part.

I would have loved that! You think Evergreen could have supplied us with enough styrene? My re-model is about over but I have my shop back in operation ( well, almost).

Getting closer! Windows are going on now thanks to my fantastic decal guy! Last pic is paired with brass model I used as a pattern.
