I realize that most of us have put the white mortar to this little buildings with the red brick. But have you painted these buildings any other color than the red brick that is the standard ? If so, what did you use and do you have any pictures to show us? Just looking for some different ideas as I begin to assemble some of these buildings.

It wasn't their typical brick, more like stone, but I painted the General Store #502 pretty much like they had shown it. I used the $0.69-0.99 cent bottles of acrylic paint from Michaels/Hobby Lobby and it worked well.

 

We are moving in a month and it is now packed (for probably at least a couple months) but here is the picture from the OGR site.

These are both made from Ameritown panels, etc.  Many buildings in the real world were painted brick so I do that often.  The more modern metal and glass façade on some Ameritown buildings is okay in its original gray plastic but here I did it up in faux gold for what is supposed to be a really fancy, prestigious building.
