Combine included in MTH 20-4118 PRR Madison 2-car passenger set? Help.

This MTH set was first introduced in 1997.  The Madison "combine" included in this set is identified as an RPO. This car is not the same as other later issued MTH Madison combines or RPOs produced by MTH.  Other later MTH "combines" included a side passenger door with step at one end and a baggage door at the other end.

Help.  Have not been able to locate a photo of a prototype car like the model.

Photo of a typical prototype railroad "combine" car is shown with side door and step at one end.

The "shorty Sante Fe" car that you picture is certainly not an RPO.  It may have had a locked express section but was not worked by postal workers enroute.  The Pennsy car you show is a standard "combine" car.  pro hobby's photos do show a typical RPO, with one end as an express car.  That style of car did carry postal workers who would sort mail enroute.
