hello, I am relatively new to the legacy system. I am having an issue getting my Lionel 6-18269 sd90 with command control to work with my 990 legacy remote. I can get the sound to work but can’t get the train to move.
Below are the steps I have taken. I am hoping someone can help. I feel as though I am good at the googles but have had no effective results.
1. Placed train on track with power off and switch to program position
2. Powered up track. Assigned it’s number to 6 and hit set. Horn sounds
3. Power down track, switch to run
4. Power up. Set the control type to cab1 and sound to rs5
5. Tried running train but only the horn sounds when I click buttons
I feel like I am missing something. I have a newer engine with TMCC and the little usb module and have no issues.
Can someone offer some some advise please? Thanks
