Hey Guys,
Finding it difficult to correct up the 2 units together. The intent is for the 153IR to trigger the crossing gate as the train passes it. I've connected the white wire to the NC terminal on the 153, the yellow wire to the NO terminal.
The power and ground of the 153 to the transformer.
Right now, I have the red and black wires from the crossing gate also connected to the transformer - which may not be correct.
The signal stays down and blinks - irrespective of whether I place an object, or pass my hand, in front of the 153 optical sensor.
And ideas what am I doing wrong?
