I recently purchased two identical Flyer Chief GP7s. With one of the dedicated remotes, I can run both engines together. However, the universal remote will only pair to one of the engines for a given channel. In fact, the other engine will pair on another channel. Is there something I am not doing correct?

I suspect that's just "the way it works", they never envisioned doing an MU with the universal remote.
One of my favorite "features" is running two NYC RS3 diesels lashed up together with one of the stock remotes. Sad to hear that it can't be done with the universal remote.
