Hi All,

DCS app not connecting with Locos. I  Rebooted TiU & WIU and DCS App along with iPad.

Verified Wi-Fi is on the MTH network.

When I throw power up on track quickly via z4000 transformer.  locos start running as if they are conventional.

Reseeded all cables from transformer to TIU. As well as all terminal blocks.

Can’t connect to any previous running locomotives On the DCS engine list.

Only thing done recently was configured Variable ports to fixed via DCS remote. Also changed ports to fixed in app settings.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The current loops I have connected to the TIU are on Fixed 1 and 2 but still experiencing communication issues. Will enabling Variable have any effect on the FIXED ports? Shouldn't hey be working. My goal in converting all of the ports to fixed was that I can isolate each loop in the layout power wise to run independently.

If you are running everything through the FIXED ports then changing the setting on the variable ports shouldn't have any effect.  I also noticed that you have SUPER mode turned on, if you only have one TIU, Super mode is not needed. This won't necessarily fix your problem but it's also not needed.

If your goal is to have 4 loops all isolated with each feed from a TIU output then Fixed voltage is generally the way to go. Turning on the DCS Signal is also needed if you intend to run DCS engines on those tracks.

Back to your original problem, I'd troubleshoot the output of your fixed ports using a short piece of test track and a DCS engine to ensure it isn't a problem with your layout track or wiring.
