HI, I bought a MTH PS 3 engine. Evidently someone ran it in a mode other than DCS. When I put the train on my track (with TUI ) hooked to it, the engine starts up on it's own, but can not be added or even found. I tried resetting the engine to factory default on another track with a conventional controller hitting the horn once followed by the bell 5 times and the engine will blow the horn twice telling me its been factory reset, but when put on my docs TUI track, the engine still starts up as soon as the current hits it and still can't be found. What do I do???

Thanks Kenny

Thanks for the reply. Update: Put the engine on a track with a Zcontroller (Bell, Horn, Direction, & Knob to give it power) hooked to it only (No TIU). The engine starts up as soon as power to track, runs forward, backward, sounds, etc. I did another Factory default on it (Horn, 5 bells, + it double blew horn). When I put the engine on my track with my TIU & DCS wifi, and turn power on to track the engine still starts up right away, and when I try to" add MTH engine" same message no engine to be found. I have 7 other engines hooked up to the TIU running sevaral tracks and they can be found and run.

My question is how to I get this MTH SD-40-2 PS 3 new engine to go from Conventional mode to DCS TIU WIFI???? Is there something else I need to do to get it to be recognized???

Thanks for any help

Kenny
