Im putting up my standard gauge christmas layout and wanted to operate a 45 operating gateman with an insulated track, dcs explorer and variable output on my transformer. When I hook the power to the tracks with the z4000 and using the variable output it works flawlessly. When I power the loop of track with the dcs explorer the gateman wont work. When hooked up to the dcs explorer I still have the variable output from the z4000 feeding the gateman. What am I doing wrong?
