DCS loader

I had the same issue a few weeks ago.  JEEZ, their site SUX.  I was able to download it finally.  I will check when I get home and post an update

The MTH web site is not as user friendly as it was earlier. Now it offers a multiple choice selection to download the DCS software and unless you are computer savvy you can become confused. When it refers you to a Microsoft web page, the explanation on that  page is not easily understood if one is not a "computer geek".

Just tried it from work with Internet Explorer 8.  I had to navigate a few certificate errors, but I got it.  Again, I'll try again with Firefox at home

Sounds like their security certificate has expired

There is no issue, proceed past and download the software.  they are waiting for the new site to be done to renew the certificate

There is an issue. It will not let me "proceed past". The download never begins after the warning appears. Without MTH renewing its security certificate my computer will not proceed.

More of the tech details:

 

extranet.mth-railking.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate expired on 12/12/2011 6:59 PM. The current time is 1/3/2013 4:11 PM.

(Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)

You can add an exception to the certificate at the bottom of the screen.

On the MTH download screen there is no place to add an exception  on the warning page.

That's not a picture of the  screen. It doesn't show the buttons that you can click on to get around the warning.

 

Take a screen shot of the screen and post it.

I do not know how to take a screen shot of the page which appears after I click on the "Download Now" It is the regular MTH page with the warning in the middle.. The warning is the only area which will print.

Is there a CONTINUE button in the warning? If so, click on it. If not, what clickable buttons are in the warning window?

All taken care of.  Spoke with bill.  We lowered his Internet Exploree 8 security level from med-high to low and it allowed him to download the file. We then raised his security settings back to med-high and all is well.  The certificate is in the process of being renewed. This should be corrected in the next week.

The MTH DCS download site is still giving the Untrusted certificate message.

 

DCS Loader 32 bit

I was able to get the download after changing my browser security settings to Low. Very slow download, using FIOS.

Odd.  I just downloaded from the link in the previous post using FiOS, and the download was maybe a second, but probably less.  The download window barely got open when it closed at the completion of the download.
