A while back I posted seeking Rechargeable batteries for my DCS remote.
I went to COSTCO
They had a deal on rechargeables.
They work great and since there was 12 AAA in the set, I have batteries to spare
I don’t keep them in the remote when not in use.
And as soon as I see LOW BAT, I change them out

I do the same. I picked up two sets of NiMH's at Harbor Freight. The batteries were about $5 for a 4-pack and the charger was about $6. Since I don't use my remote as much (use the WiFi app) I usually charge the batteries overnight before I take the remote to the club.
