Posting this to double check myself before soldering in a new replacement thumb wheel.
According to the instructions included with replacement thumb wheel from MTH, it is direct replacement for the original, except possibly for the wiring.
As seen in the photo my wiring doesnʻt match the diagram, so I have to swap the positions of the green and red wires from the thumb wheel when soldering to the remote.
Anyone care to comment before I heat up the iron...
