How can I get the upgrade for my Kindle app..perhaps MTH should put the upgraded app as a purchase app, if they already do, where might I find it?

I upgraded on my Apple phn.  But haven't tested it yet.

There is a purchased version that gives you much more control and more engines. Not sure where to find it for kindle but it's in the Apple App Store.

And a spare Apple phone from my daughters upgrade to 6s.

So, I will have plenty of "remotes". 

Not all RS232 to USB Cables work reliably.  Here is one that works all the time in both loading new code into your TIU and more importantly if you have an Older TIU without the USB Port to connect to the Wi Fi Box.  Go to AMAZON.com and search for this cable:

In the app, go to the More... screen and tap on Upgrade App.

I bought my usb-to-serial at staples - their model 18762.  It came with an installation CD.  I have an old model TIU as well.  All worked well - I did the cable installation plus the upgrade all in less than 45 minutes.  The DCS companion was helpful in prepping for the upgrade.

But on my Kindle, it does not. It just attempts to access playstore, which kindle cannot.

Thats why I would like to see the "app for purchase" option next to the mth app, because then maybe I could use 1mobile to bypass the restrictions of android and apple, as I already did, and get the upgrade.

You are, I'm sure, aware that the Kindle is not an MTH-supportred platform for the DCS App.The fact that you got it to operate at all is a success all by itself.

Since you were able to get the app on your Kindle, it would be good if you could post exactly what steps you took to do so. This would certainly assist others who desire to do the same thing.

I tried to get it on my Windows phone, but it requires another app, MOBILEPK1, but it is in a far eastern language, so I need it translated.
