hi,,,everytime I run my dd1 I have to reset the features,,,,works great,,,,next time ,,,,low sounds,,,,reset then ok,,,,,could this be battery related,,,,,should I charge it overnight or just install a bcr,thanks for your help

What model #, make and so on? Sounds like battery to me.
Charge the batt and see if it fixes the problem then go from there.

If you turn off power and the engine doesn't play shutdown sounds, the battery is probably bad. Lot of DD-1 are 5V boards, so I would replace the battery or add the BCR. Easy replacement. G
thanks guys will order a bcr Monday,,,,that way will nerver have to worry ,hopefully
Unless, of course, there is a bad connection in the battery harness.

ok so I let it charge overnight,,then noticed I hadn't connected the teather,,,,only after 24 hrs,,,,lol,,,,,anyway ,,,made sure both units were connected and charged overnight again,,,,reset sound feature,,,,now seem to work ok thanks for all your input fellows !!!
